Rainier Christian Middle School students don’t just survive – they THRIVE!  Middle School is a tremendous opportunity to do just that.  At Rainier Christian Middle School, the focus is on educating and developing the WHOLE person for the glory of God; spiritually, academically, emotionally, socially and physically.

The middle school years are important for solidifying and building on great study habits, writing skills, and mastering new subjects, knowledge, and experiences.  Our weekly chapels are such an integral part of building the faith of our students, as they learn how to lead in worship, share their faith, and be challenged and encouraged from our dynamic chapel speakers. It is the goal that every maturing student will:

  • Accept and appreciate who God is through His Son, Jesus Christ
  • Integrate biblical principles and values into life situations
  • Become an effective communicator
  • Listen actively and openly
  • Communicate articulately orally and in writing
  • Contribute to groups collaboratively with interpersonal skills
  • Become a rational thinker
  • Analyze, interpret, evaluate, and synthesize concepts within various contexts
  • Utilize mathematics to solve problems effectively
  • Create original products and works with high standards
  • Become a life-long learner
  • Maintain intellectual curiosity
  • Utilize the scientific inquiry method
  • Utilize technology
  • Become a moral and ethical citizen
  • Respect persons of other races, cultures, faiths, and values
  • Demonstrate self control in attitudes and behaviors
  • Care for others through practical ministry
  • Become a good steward
  • Set goals for personal growth
  • Maintain disciplined health habits
  • Appreciate the performing and visual arts

We invite you and your student to come and visit our school for a day, and see if our school is a good fit for your family.
