I was reviewing my son’s Stanford Achievement Test scores from this past spring just a couple days ago. Once again, I was impressed to see how many areas (all but 5) he is already testing at the Post High School (PHS) level. For the 18 areas tested, he only has 5 that are under PHS and the lowest of those is 9th grade. And he just completed 7th grade! I recall my daughter’s 8th grade results as well – because she was testing at “PHS” in all but 1 or 2 areas. That was a milestone for us, to realize our hard work and effort to have private, Christian, education for our kids was providing them with a better education than what they’d receive in public schools. We remember hearing they’d test higher, but until we saw it for ourselves, it really struck us as “it has made them learn better and more material”. As a parent, I’m saying that the education that my son has received definitely has made it so he’s so well learned in the core areas. My family was a Buddist family. I didn’t know Jesus. Then, when I came to Rainier Christian Schools, I got saved. I needed Jesus because I felt lonely. I grow in Him by praying. I am struggling in reading the Bible everyday, but now I feel better since I got saved. I shared Jesus with my cousin since they’re not saved yet. - Elementary Student
Our family has been blessed by God once again this year. We have so many things to thank our Lord for and I just cannot figure out why He continues to bless us the way He does.
One of our biggest blessings over the years has been Rainier Christian Schools. We have seen our kids continue to grow in the Lord over the years and it is in large part to the teacher and staff at RCS. God definitely had a plan by allowing us to send our kids to RCS. It would be our prayer that every child could grow up with such a wonderful Christian based education and know the glory that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
