Annual Dinner & Live Auction
Making a Donation
We would be honored if you would donate an item or certificate for products or services. By donating, you show that you believe in education to all our families, alumni, and supporters. RCS is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization [our tax ID is #91-0758375] and all donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
Donating is simple, fill out a donation form, make a copy for your records, and return the original with any certificates or items to our Administrative Offices (or any of our campuses). Donations turned in four weeks prior to the auction event will be considered for the Live Auction. ALL donations are listed in our auction materials. Please feel free to contact the Auction Committee at auction@rainiercsd.org or 425-255-7273 with questions or if you’d like your donation picked up.

Classroom/Campus Donation
Each RCS elementary classroom is asked to participate in the RCS Annual Auction by creating an art project, a “one-of-a-kind” experience, or a themed gift basket. The middle and high school participates in their grade or specified class. The donated item should be about $100.00 in value, in general, and have a specific theme or idea. The possibilities are endless and a list of ideas for inspiration is available. Items made or decorated by the students are extremely popular as they are unique. A gift basket or experience (i.e. trip to Victoria, B.C.) are also great. These class art projects, unique experiences, or bountiful baskets are what sell the best at our auction. Dessert Donation
Every year, our event features a Dessert Auction where guests bid against one another for the tastiest treats. Bidding begins at $50 for each. We frequently get over half the desserts guarantee bid at $350.00. In 2011, there were 22 desserts offered - 13 of which were guarantee bid - raising a total for all of $6,543.00. Wow!
