Rainier Christian Schools is not only a positive, encouraging environment for students, but it
also produces students with a desire to learn. RCS students
excel academically, as shown in their test scores. The
Stanford Achievement Tests are given yearly for students in
grades K-8, and on average RCS students score in the 75th
percentile, substantially above the national average.
The SAT Exam is taken by
juniors and seniors and the graduating class of 2007 scored
almost 300 points (19%) higher than the national average.
Two of our high school athletic teams—Boy’s Soccer and Girl’s Fastpitch—were
academic state champions in 2006-07.
Lastly,
the graduating class of 2007— thirty students—was offered
more than $1,200,000 in scholarships and grants and 97% of
the students were scheduled to pursue post-secondary
education.
