Rainier Christian Schools is not only a positive,
encouraging environment for students, but it also produces
students with a desire to learn and excel academically.
The Stanford Achievement Tests
are given annually for students in grades K-8. In the most
recent year completed, RCS students (on average) scored in
the 72nd percentile, substantially above the national
average.
Rainier Christian High School athletic teams are regularly
recognized by the WIAA (Washington Interscholastic Athletic
Association) for scholastic excellence. Various teams have
been honored with Distinguished Team, Outstanding
Team, or Academic State Champion awards in the
past several years.
The
SAT Exam is taken by juniors and seniors each year. During
2007 and 2008 the senior classes averaged over 1700 on the
exam, nearly 200 points (13%) higher than the national
average.
97% of recent graduates were scheduled to pursue
post-secondary education.
Lastly, the graduating classes of 2007 and 2008 (each
graduating class had 30 students) were offered more than
$1,800,000 in scholarships and grants.
